Our standard tanning package is the most common package purchased. 

It consists of one application of the Overnight Competition Color the day/evening before the contest and one application of the Instant Top Coat Bronzer the morning of the contest. 

The need for additional applications is based on your natural skin tone and desired final result.

Should you need an additional base coat application, you may opt to purchase one at checkout. Please note that base coat applications must be spaced for 3-4 hours for optimal development.

Your tanning time will be scheduled based on the information provided when you purchased your tanning package.  We will attempt to schedule your times as close to your requests as possible.

Be advised that the times you request may not be your official time.

Tanning times are emailed to the email address provided at checkout one week before your contest.

You will be notified of the tanning location and all pertinent information in this email.

If you did not register for your tanning package online, please visit a member of our staff at the tanning check-in table for scheduling.

A late fee of $25 will be added to your tanning package total. 

All purchased tanning packages include backstage services like color touch-ups, oil, and glue. Champion Spray USA staff members are in designated backstage areas 45 minutes before the show begins and do not leave until the last athlete crosses the stage for both pre-judging and final shows.

Backstage service does not mean applying full body tans.  If you need full color, a Champion Spray staff member will apply it if time permits and at a fee of $130.  Payment must be made prior to service. 

You should wear dark, loose-fitting clothing to your appointment with no tight elastics. We recommend 100% cotton. Undergarments and tight elastics should be avoided post-tanning.  

Remember not to carry your bags on your shoulder or back, as they can pull the tan from off your body.

There may be remaining cosmetic bronzers on your clothing post-tan but will more than likely be removed once washed. It is recommended not to wear any apparel of significant value to your tanning appointment.

You may place your belongings where the spray technician guides you to, however, Champion Spray USA does not recommend bringing valuable items to your tanning appointment.  We will not be held liable for your property. We recommend leaving all jewelry in a safe place like your room safe or at home.

It would be best if you did not rinse unless your tanning technician advises you differently.

As an affiliate of Pro Tan®, we believe strongly in their products and they have a variety that you can use when preparing your skin. The most highly recommended product is Get Buffed®, a pre-tan exfoliator with skin-balancing properties.

Begin using Get Buffed® each day one week before tanning. Do not harshly exfoliate the skin. Do not exfoliate less than 6 hours before your tanning appointment.

While you will be left with a natural, brown suntan color post-contest, you can aid the removal of the tan by using Pro Tan’s Sunless Tan Remover as well as their Get Buffed® exfoliator.

For any reason that you may need an additional application, visit our check-in table, where a Manager will assist you with booking an additional appointment.

On-site additional applications are $35 USD and can be scheduled immediately. Please note, additional spray tan appointments are not available after pre-judging.
